About the Clinic
The West Plains Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic opened in 1990 and features approximately 9,200 square feet of space, which includes:
• 7 individual treatment rooms
• a speech therapy room
• an occupational therapy area
• a 2,000-square foot rehabilitation gym
• a SwimEx aquatic therapy room
• office space
The West Plains clinic is one of only 9 facilities in Missouri that offers MedX spine testing and strengthening equipment. The Mountain Grove clinic location offers MedX as well. Many of the clinical staff members at PTSC have received MedX certification through on-site education at the University of Florida. The West Plains clinic also features a SwimEx aquatic therapy pool with a hydraulic chair lift for patients who are unable to get into the pool on their own, as well as many other pieces of state-of-the-art equipment.

From Springfield, take Mo. Hwy. 60 east to Willow Springs. In Willow Springs, take Mo. Hwy. 63 south to West Plains. Take the Business Hwy. 63 exit in West Plains. Go left (west) to Porter Wagoner Boulevard. Turn right (south) onto Porter Wagoner Blvd. Look for a big blue and white Hospital sign at the corner of Porter Wagoner Blvd. and Eighth Street. Turn right (east) onto Eighth St. The PTSC building is on the left (south).
From Alton and other points east
From Alton, take Mo. Hwy. 160 west to Mo. Hwy. 63 south to West Plains. Take the Business Hwy. 63 exit in West Plains. Go left (west) to Porter Wagoner Blvd. Turn right (south) onto Porter Wagoner Blvd. Look for a big blue and white Hospital sign at the corner of Porter Wagoner Blvd. and Eighth St. Turn right (east) onto Eighth St. The PTSC building is on the left (south).
From Gainesville and other points southwest
From Gainesville, take Mo. Hwy. 160 east to West Plains. Missouri Hwy. 160 becomes Preacher Roe Boulevard inside the city limits. Travel northeast on Mo. Hwy. 160 (Preacher Roe Blvd.) past the intersection of Mo. Hwy. 63 (Jan Howard Expressway). Turn left (north) on Harlin Drive. Harlin Dr. then becomes Main St. Continue north on Main St. to the intersection of Main St. and Broadway. Main St. becomes Porter Wagoner Blvd. Continue on north on Porter Wagoner Blvd. Look for a big blue and white Hospital sign at the corner of Porter Wagoner Blvd. and Eighth St. Turn left (west) onto Eighth St. The PTSC building is on the left (south).
From Thayer and other points southeast
From Thayer, take Mo. Hwy. 63 north to Bus. Hwy. 63 (Bill Virdon Boulevard) east. Bill Virdon Boulevard becomes Jackie Garrett Drive. Jackie Garrett Drive becomes Broadway just past the Washington Street intersection. Continue on Broadway west to the intersection of Porter Wagoner Blvd. Turn right (north). Look for a big blue and white Hospital sign at the corner of Porter Wagoner Blvd. and Eighth St. Turn left (west) onto Eighth St. The PTSC building is on the left (south).

From Lebanon and other points north
From Lebanon, take Mo. Hwy. 5 south to Hartville. Continue on Hwy. 5 to Mo. Hwy. 60. Near Mansfield, take Mo. Hwy. 60 east to Mountain Grove. In Mountain Grove, exit onto Hwy. 95 south. Go approximately 1/4 mile. The PTSC building is on the left (east) of Hwy. 95.
