Memorial Scholarships
Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic awards nine $1,000 memorial scholarships
each year to individuals in Dent, Howell, Wright, Oregon, Douglas, Shannon
and Texas counties. Proceeds from the annual PTSC Charity Golf Tournament and Auction fund the scholarships.
Applications are available at each clinic location or at the high
school counselor's office in January. They are reviewed by a board of local community leaders who rank potential recipients based on criteria
that may include personal and leadership qualities, academic accomplishments,
grade point average, financial need and community service.
