Julie Marie McGoldrick

Julie was the daughter of Jerry & Judy McGoldrick. She was a very loving and giving person. She had a real zest for life. She liked all kinds of music and had two pets she dearly loved: Dixie her dog and Nicki her cat. Julie loved outdoor activities, especially those related to floating the rivers, swimming, or water skiing at the lake.
Julie was always a positive person. She always had time for her family and friends. She never met a stranger that stayed a stranger for long. She was a Christian and attended Elijah Church of Christ since birth. Her favorite song was Amazing Grace because it said it all.
Julie participated in choir, volleyball, basketball, and track in middle school. She played basketball and tennis at West Plains High School. Her grades were important to her and she was on the honor roll from kindergarten thru high school. Julie was a sophomore at Southwest Missouri State University West Plains. She wanted to get a degree in business management and then attend radiology school. She wanted to work in the Chemotherapy department with children. Julie wrote a paper in her college Philosophy class on What is Happiness? She stated there were three main things that made her happy: her belief in God, her family, and her friends. She stated that her main goal in life was to go to heaven. This paper is a treasure that her parents were very glad to have found after her accident.
Julie would be thrilled to know that this scholarship established in her memory will help someone else to achieve his or her goal of an education. Julie had received a college scholarship and it meant so much to her.
